Meet Dr. Chin
Vivian Chin, MD, MPH is the cosmetic physician, founder, and medical director behind Koru Wellness Aesthetics on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Her interest in skincare started close to home. She grew up on the Upper East Side and attended The Brearley School. As the daughter of a dermatologist, she was surrounded by—and fascinated with—skin creams and potions. That early curiosity grew into a career bringing together medicine, aesthetics, and the everyday habits that help people care for their skin.
Alongside her medical and postgraduate education, Dr. Chin trained as an aesthetician at Dermalogica Academy in Manhattan. That hands-on experience deepened her understanding of skincare ingredients and their place in daily routines.
