Appointment and Payment Policies
Clear information about reservations, cancellations, treatment fees and billing questions.
Reservation Credits and Cancellations
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. A reservation credit may be collected when booking and is applied in full toward your appointment total.
- $25 for facials, DiamondGlow, microcurrent and CMS appointments with Satoe, LE, priced up to $400.
- $50 for physician consultations, medical visits and lip flips.
- $100 for standard Botox, Jeuveau or Daxxify appointments and treatments priced over $400.
- Pure LED and minor waxing require a card on file only.
- Covered membership/package visits and complimentary follow-ups require no additional reservation credit.
For combined visits, only one reservation credit applies—the highest applicable amount—with no separate credit for enhancements.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With sufficient notice, your reservation credit may transfer to a rescheduled appointment or be refunded on request.
Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, incur a $50 fee per appointment. Any reservation credit already paid is applied toward that fee. Only the remaining fee balance is due; any excess remains as credit. The fee is not charged twice.
Thank you for helping us respect the time reserved for every patient.
Appointments Outside Regular Hours
Appointments outside our regular business hours may be available by special arrangement. An additional fee of $75 per reserved 30-minute block outside regular hours applies, with the total confirmed before booking. This fee is separate from treatment charges and is not credited toward treatment. It does not apply when an appointment runs late or when Koru requests a schedule change.
Treatment Fees, Results and Refunds
Fees for treatments performed as agreed are nonrefundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Treatment fees cover the professional services, time, products and supplies provided. Individual responses vary, and no specific aesthetic result or duration of results is guaranteed. A series of treatments or ongoing maintenance may be recommended.
Dissatisfaction with an aesthetic outcome alone does not entitle you to a refund or complimentary additional treatment. Any additional elective treatment and its associated fees will be discussed and agreed upon before it is performed.
If you have concerns about your treatment or results, please contact Koru Wellness Aesthetics promptly for assessment and appropriate follow-up.
Reservation credits, cancellations, unused prepaid treatments and memberships are governed by their separate written policies. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.
When Someone Else Pays
The person paying must sign the payment authorization, whether paying for their own treatment or for someone else. For card payments, the actual cardholder signs. The patient's treatment consent does not replace the payer's authorization.
Please do not send full card numbers or security codes by ordinary email. We will arrange the appropriate payment and authorization process with the payer.
Payment Questions and Disputes
We want every patient to understand their charges. If you have a billing question or believe a charge is incorrect, please contact Koru Wellness Aesthetics at hello@korunyc.com or 212-396-3672 so we can review your concern and work toward a resolution.
Patients are responsible for authorized charges agreed to under our disclosed treatment, reservation, cancellation and membership policies, subject to applicable law. Patients agree to provide accurate information when raising a payment concern or dispute.
Koru may respond to payment disputes with relevant transaction records, accepted policies and supporting documentation, consistent with applicable privacy requirements.
Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights to dispute a charge or contact your card issuer or payment provider. Contacting Koru is encouraged but is not a prerequisite to exercising those rights or meeting applicable dispute deadlines.
A written copy of these policies is available on request.
