What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to support the skin’s natural remodeling response. Koru uses SkinPen for microneedling treatments.
What Is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is prepared from a patient’s own blood. A small blood sample is processed to separate a platelet-rich plasma fraction, which may then be used as part of an individualized skin or hair treatment plan.
Microneedling With PRP
For selected patients, PRP may be combined with microneedling. Whether microneedling alone or microneedling with PRP is recommended depends on your concerns, treatment history, goals, and medical evaluation.

What About Downtime?
