1.Dr. Chin. A physician – yes, an M.D. – is also the owner and founder of our medical spa. I have dreamed about opening a boutique medical aesthetics practice since I was a little girl. I decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and have never looked back!
2.Passion. I am an aesthetic physician who spends 100% of her time on aesthetic procedures only. I choose my staff because they also have a passion for people and well-being. Medical aesthetics is our specialty. To get the best results, a practitioner must have an eye for the procedure, developed through care and artistry. Not only is skill very important, but also having an eye for aesthetics to achieve the best in artistry, preserve your facial harmony, and obtain a great result. You don’t want to look like everyone else.
3.Safety and Knowledge. I attend many of the best global conferences each year to keep up with the latest trends. Our goal is to spread the knowledge to empower you to make informed decisions.
4.Independence. We are a small family-owned business that has not taken on industry money. We are not paid by any pharmaceutical or laser companies and so maintain neutrality. We recommend procedures not because we are paid by a company, but because we truly believe it will address your skincare concerns. Shop small with us!
5.Honesty and Integrity. If I think that one syringe of filler will give you the results you want, I will happily do it. If I think you’ll be happier with two or more, I will tell you, but I won’t pressure you into it. Likewise, if we decide that Botox® is right for you, you will receive Botox® injections – not any other brand. We order our Botox® from Allergan® USA and are a part of Allergan’s Brilliant Distinctions® program to prove it! We do not substitute other brands for the one you have paid for. I will also happily explain the differences between the brands so that you can make an informed decision.
6.Doctor time. Everyone can schedule a consultation with the doctor. And if you ask for Dr. Chin to do a medical-grade procedure like Botox® or dermal filler like Juvederm®, you will get her – not a nurse or a physician’s assistant. We prefer to listen to you, as we value your input as we guide you towards the best treatments for your goals.
7.Time. We dedicate a little more time than average to each injectable treatment to make sure we aren’t rushed and to get you the best results. As a small boutique offering, we do not over-book patients. (However, this also means that we are strict about our lateness/cancellation/no show policy.)
8.Privacy. When booking, you won’t see a whole reception area full of patients, as your time is reserved for you.
9.Patients as people, first. We put our patients first. We listen to what our patients want before we purchase new technology – rather than purchase new technology and tell patients they need it! We also do not believe in the “hard sell” and will never push you into doing a procedure you do not feel comfortable doing. We may recommend a procedure based on the science, but we do Informed Consents for a reason.
10.A natural look. We believe in a natural look, individual to each person. We go conservatively and step by step. You will not be pushed to do more than you are comfortable with (though I will let you know if I think you’ll be happier with more). You will not end up having that typical “overdone” look. I take it seriously as my job to let you know when you’re doing too much. A good injector/artist will not only give you great results, but will also know when to stop. Our goal is to preserve and enhance the natural harmony of your face.
