Satoe, Lead Aesthetician
Satoe is a New York licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician with over twenty years of experience. Satoe practiced as an aesthetician in Japan for nine years and also speaks fluent Japanese. While in Japan, her passion to see how she could transform a persons’ skin grew. This drove her to continue to pursue her passion for skincare in New York City. While in New York, Satoe worked in Midtown Manhattan for twelve years at an internationally-acclaimed, award-winning spa. She is now excited to be working with Dr. Chin at Koru Wellness Aesthetics. In her own words, “I love skin care because when clients are happy, I am happy and it brings me great joy to see that I have helped a client look and feel their best.” Satoe specializes in customized facials and chemical peels, DiamondGlow® treatments, and laser hair removal.
Clarissa Lau
Dr. Chin is proud to introduce Physician Assistant Clarissa Lau to our Koru family! Clarissa Lau is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in cosmetic and medical dermatology. Clarissa has been trained in medical aesthetics by Dr. Chin as well as leading dermatologists in New York City. She is proficient in both Chinese and English and has extensive experience in advanced dermatological procedures, including microneedling, laser therapies, PRP, Botox and filler injections treatments. Clarissa is committed to ongoing professional development and has numerous certifications in medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures. She also has research contributions to cancer and cognitive decline and is actively involved in community service. She adds, “I’m thrilled to meet you all and I’m excited to be part of your
journey toward achieving your wellness and aesthetic robo-education!”
Clarissa will be available to see patients on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, select Fridays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and some Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
